Hunter Hayes Nashville Concert reviews
Incubus was good, but not amazing
"It wasn't a very high-energy show, even during their heavy songs like redefine and a crow left of the murder. The choruses seemed as quiet as the verses, which in-turn meant it wasn't a very high-energy show, even during their heavy songs like redefine and a crow left of the murder. They're my favorite band and always have been, but I was a little disappointed after going to their show. I like when bands are unpredictable but there was no spontaneity there. They didn't really have a lot of stage presence either... they didn't do anything I didn't expect them to... They're touring for their new CD, yet they played none of the new material except that Prince cover, but no midnight swim, black heart inertia or any of those newly released b-sides. Oh yeah, and what's the deal with them not playing any of their new songs?? I guess the positives though would be that they played three songs off a crow left of the murder which is my favorite CD of all time, and they did a pretty cool version of dig and talk shows on mute. I actually think it might have been the sound guy's fault or something, but each time when they got to the chorus, it didn't hit you like you'd expect it to. The T-shirts were $40... even for the white ones. I payed $20 for my foo fighter concert shirt, $25 at tool, $30 at john legend, but $40 is just crossing the line. Oh yeah... IT'S Hunter Hayes!! You can't go wrong with Hunter Hayes no matter how bad their show is."
